Last Friday, 12/08/2023 the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students presented an original musical adaptation of KING ARTHUR’S QUEST.
Playing the title character, King Arthur, was a local student Mercedes Gilroy. Other featured performers included Xzallia Kowoosh as Guinevere; Zakiah Kowoosh as Merlin; Daisy Wilson as the Raven; Hannah Nelson as Taliesin; Ethan Plute as Lancelot; Yevette Kowoosh as the Lady of the Lake; Mya Butler as Uther Pendragon; Riot Priebe as Mordred; and Destiny Baxter-Cook as Morgan Le Fey. The Knights were made up of Ashton Balesteri, Allison Hale, Karter Calloway, Juan Calderon-Ochoa, Temperance Mickelson, and Ashleigh Nelson. Ashton Balesteri, Leslie Arreguin-Mendoza, Kamden Calloway, Maddison Lines, Maria Perez and Freddy Kalama played the Squires. Appearing as the Camelotians were Jaqui Lopez-Garcia, Baylee Leavitt, Brianna Valencia, Trinity Perry, Sylvia Faber, Evelynn Osborne, Kimberly Vega-Sanchez, Nathaly Renteria, Katie Calloway, Kyla Cook and Tony Cook. Dianne Fowler, Brooklyn Boome, Teah Francis, Issabel Foss and Angel Kowoosh played the Damsels. Hunter Perrigo, KiMya Sansom, Emanuel Valencia, Noah Boome, Emilio Jackson-Shahan, Isabella Perrigo, Brandon Gonzalez, Alayna Plute, Dylan Gutierrez, Lillian Schwenk, Ariany Aguilar, Adrian Max, Cora Stallard, Sofia Valencia, Hellen Schwenk, Samuel Mickelson and Rafael Vega performed the roles of the Minis. Blake Hartt, Luis Farias, Adan Morfin, Allisson Gutierrez and Destiny Baxter-Cook have served as Assistant Directors.
