This next semester, we are excited to announce that two students from Lake Quinault School District will be taking a welding class with Mr. David Hughes. This opportunity will give them hands-on experience in metalwork, helping them develop practical skills that could lead to future careers in skilled trades.
Welding is an essential skill in many industries, including construction, automotive repair, and manufacturing. Under the guidance of Mr. Hughes, the students will learn the fundamentals of welding, safety procedures, and techniques to create strong and precise metalwork.
This class reflects the district’s commitment to providing students with diverse learning experiences that extend beyond traditional classrooms. By gaining real-world skills, these students will be better prepared for post-graduation opportunities, whether they pursue further education, apprenticeships, or careers in the trades.
